4 Things For You To Do In Amarillo This Weekend With The Family
If you're wanting to get out of the house this weekend, there's a lot happening in Amarillo. From monster trucks to UFC, you have several options for entertainment this weekend.
Movie Marathon at the Drive-In
Tascosa Drive-In is having a marathon tonight starting at 6 PM. It's called "Shockfest," and it is a horror film festival featuring 20 films. You can get all of the details here. Cost is $10 a car.
Tomorrow (10/24), there's plenty of action at the Route 66 Motor Speedway. Monster Trucks are back in town, and there will be two shows. One at 1:30 PM and another at 7:30 PM. If you're a fan of MMA and UFC, Cinergy is going to be showing UFC 254 tomorrow (10/24). They'll be showing the fights on the big screen. Doors for the theater will open at 12 PM, and you'll get to watch them in one of the most comfortable theaters in town. You can get more info here.
Tomorrow (10/24) you can get in some 3v3 soccer at Halloween Havoc. It will be held at John Stiff Park. Beyond just soccer there's also costume contests, games, and prizes at the event.
