Michael Rowley, an Amarillo native, is going to be coming home to screen his award winning documentary at the inaugural Arts Fest on May 11th.

The documentary, Hurdle, follows the lives of two young Palestinian men who use Parkour to overcome life being lived in "the shadow of the Israeli seperation" wall.

The documentary has won its fair share of awards and accolades. One look at the trailer, and it's easy to imagine why.

Along with Parkour footage, you also get a glimpse in the trailer of what the lives of these young men are like. There is chaos. There is violence.

With debates and arguments over a "wall" becoming a daily part of our own social discourse, this film is timely.

Watch the trailer, and plan to be at the screening. The screening is FREE and will kick off on May 11 at 7PM. The screening will be held in the Horizon West Event Center at 3701 Plains Blvd. More information can be found on the Facebook event page for the screening.
