Amarillo Will Be Hosting a Metal Festival This Weekend

Heads up metal fans, this weekend there is a metal festival coming up in Amarillo this weekend. If metal (of all kinds) is your thing, check out Congregation of the Dead Fest 2019.

According to the Facebook event page for the fest, it will be this Friday and Saturday at Zombiez Bar & Grill. Bands will be coming in from Texas, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado, and all the way from Georgia.

The event promises to be brutal. The bands performing will be representing all sub-genres of metal...black metal, death metal, thrash, and so on.

Personally, I'm hoping to see some good old pirate-metal...or viking-metal. Even if I don't, I'm sure I'll get my fill of "cookie monster" over the two days.
