An Honest Review: DQ’s Limited Time Fall Flavors Blizzard

The seasons are getting ready to change. According to the calendar, the summer of 2020 is now officially part of history. That means that flavors are changing too.

Dairy Queen is launching their new limited-time seasonal Blizzard flavors and I have to say I'm pretty impressed. They include:

• The NEW Caramel Apple Pie Blizzard is made with vanilla soft-serve and blended with pieces of real apple pie. Of course, the blizzard would not be complete without the whipped cream topping and dash of nutmeg.
• Oreo Mocha Fudge
• Choco-dipped Strawberry
• Brownie Dough
• Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough

I had the opportunity to try all of the flavors. For me, the best one is the Oreo Mocha Fudge, followed by Caramel Apple Pie, and Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough.

The Oreo Mocha Fudge does a great job of balancing all of the flavors. It reminded me of dipping Oreos in milk, which is one of my favorite snacks.

The Caramel Apple Pie is probably the one that reminds me the most of the fall season, and the chunks of pie were actually pretty good. The whipped cream on top, with the dash of nutmeg, reminded me of the biggest fall flavor there is...pumpkin spice.

The Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough was great for me since Snickerdoodle cookies are one of my favorites.

The Choco-dipped Strawberry was probably my least favorite. I may be biased since I'm not a fan of strawberries in the first place, but it reminded me more of frozen yogurt than of a Blizzard. If you like strawberries, you'll probably love it considering it has chunks of real strawberry in it mixed with chocolate.

The Brownie Dough Blizzard will scratch whatever chocolate craving you have, and then some. It was good, but I couldn't finish it. It was just too much chocolate for me.
