From the Golden Girls to Hosting SNL, Betty White's career just seems to get hotter and hotter. This is a super funny lady with tons of talent and personality.

Now the Associated Press is getting in on the year-end honors, and it has named Betty White its Entertainer of the Year. White had quite a remarkable 2010, hosting "Saturday Night Live" and starring in a highly rated sitcom, "Hot in Cleveland." And she had everyone laughing at her awards-show appearances, which included a SAG win in January and an Emmy win in September.

"It's ridiculous," White said of the AP's honor. "They haven't caught on to me, and I hope they never do." In the past, entertainers including Taylor Swift, Tina Fey and Stephen Colbert have topped the list.

I remember as a kid watching her on Television because my dad probably had a crush on Blanche from the Golden Girls. She may have played a dingbat on that show, but her career speaks otherwise.
