‘Injustice 2′ Brings More Gods Among Us This May
Announced at E3 2016, Injustice 2 is the follow-up to NetherRealm Studios' popular DC Comics fighting game, Injustice: Gods Among Us. Taking up some time after the conclusion of the first game's story, Injustice 2 brings with it a new threat to the populace of Earth, along with new heroes and villains to battle it out for dominance in the face of whatever monster lurks in the darkness of space.
Previously only announced with a vague 2017 release timetable, we now know Injustice 2 will be making May 2017 that much more super alongside events like Free Comic Book Day and the theatrical release of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2.
Sideshow Unleashes Carnage Upon Its Spider-Man Statue Series
I've never had a particular affinity for Carnage as a character. However, I have always enjoyed his design. The way he seemed like a much more raw version of Venom, and that stark red and black color scheme made him that much more of demented take on Spider-Man. The gaping maw and tendrils exploding in every direction always caught my eye, and truly presented a terrifying presence. Sideshow's captured all of that grotesque design and more with its Carnage Premium Format Figure, making it a shocking tribute to Spider-Man's most unpredictable foe.
Baby Groot Already Stole Your Heart, But NECA’s Life-Size Toy Will Do It All Over Again
Baby Groot may be in Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 for really real reasons that are super important to the plot and not at all as a ploy to sell adorable toys, but that doesn't mean the pint-sized version of the hero can't have it both ways. Though much of merchandising plan for Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 remains a secret, we have seen some of the toys we can expect to hit shelves this spring and beyond. Baby Groot may have been absent from those initial reveals, but just ahead of the holiday, NECA is here to assure us Baby Groot won't be forgotten.
Hot Toys’ Star Wars: Rogue One Figures Are K-2SO Hot Right Now
As expected, K-2SO was indeed announced as the next figure in the Hot Toys Star Wars: Rogue One collection. The former Imperial droid now joins several types of Stormtroopers and Deathtroopers, Jyn Erso and Chirrut Imwe, in the rapidly expanding line, which will only continue to grow in the coming weeks and months. We already know there are several other human characters planned, as well as some more Empire forces, but we're getting ahead of ourselves. Right now the focus should be on K-2SO, who will hope to join the short list of memorable droids in Star Wars movies.
Square Enix’s Latest Batman Figure is a Chilling Rendition of Mr. Freeze
Though he might not get the headlines like Joker or invite as much interest as Catwoman, Mr. Freeze is easily one of Batman's most fascinating rogues. The character's been the focus of some of the best episodes of the animated series, at the center of some of the best video game missions, and has had some rather amazing designs over the years. With its latest Batman: Rogues Gallery figure, Square Enix turns its eyes to the often overlooked villain, and gives him a new look that's quite remarkable.
Hasbro’s Spider-Man Homecoming Marvel Legends Offers Detailed Look at New Vulture
No sooner did we get our first official trailer for Spider-Man Homecoming did Hasbro roll out the first action figure from the upcoming Sony/Marvel Studios team-up. Spider-Man already got his debut in a special Marvel Legends Captain America: Civil War set with Iron Man and Captain America, so instead of just rehashing a new version of him (which will likely happen anyway), we're getting our first good look at the new Vulture from the rebooted franchise.
Deadpool’s Marvel Variant Figure Looks Slick in Square Enix’s Style
Sometimes, you just need a little Deadpool to get through the day. Would that we could all be so sardonically charming as Wade Wilson in real life. Alas, we can always live vicariously through his adventures in print and on screen. For those of us who also thrive on action figures, there are also plenty of options when it comes to the mouthy mercenary. In fact, it's a bit of a challenge to find new ways to be excited about Deadpool toys, as so many are just so similar.
That doesn't stop companies from giving it their best efforts though. As we can see with Square Enix's latest Marvel Variant for Deadpool, there's still some mileage to get out of that very familiar red and black suit.
Clementine Returns One Finger Poorer in Telltale’s The Walking Dead, Season Three
While most of the attention this week will be paid to games with a lot more pomp and circumstance, don't sleep on Telltale Games' upcoming third season of The Walking Dead. Due out later this fall, the story once again follows Clementine, now in her late teens, as she tries to survive the zombie apocalypse in southeast America. While her trademark ponytails and baseball cap return, Clementine won't be exactly the same girl we saw during The Walking Dead, Season Two. She'll be older, wiser, and minus approximately one ring finger.
Telltale delivered the first teaser trailer for the upcoming season just ahead of E3 2016's official start, giving us a glimpse into what awaits for Clementine in the years since we'd last seen her. That, and her new friend, Javier, who appears to have a few secrets of his own.
Fallout 4 Review (Xbox One)
War never changes, but the console and gaming landscape has dramatically over the last seven years. In the time since Fallout 3's release, open-world games have evolved quite a bit thanks to that game's success. New platforms have also emerged, giving developers the resources to make larger, more detailed worlds for players to explore, while adding in the additional graphical benefits new hardware provides. While the rest of the world was moving on at an incredible pace, Bethesda was taking its time with Fallout 4. A proper fourth entry in the series needed to be bigger and better than before, but the wait was excruciating for fans. Though the franchise hasn't come quite as far in the last seven years as we'd hoped, but Fallout 4 is still an impressive piece of work that's not to be missed.

Walking Dead Writer Tapped to Script ‘Star Wars’ Feature
If you enjoyed the somber tone and strong character development of Telltale Games' The Walking Dead: Season One, then you might be a little bit more excited for the next 'Star Wars' feature film.
