Canada Cracks Down On Ticket Scalpers

I have never scalped any tickets for any events, but honestly I have bought my share of tickets from scalpers. How else are you gonna get that one extra ticket to the new Staind Tour unless you buy it from the super shady toothless guy outside of the venue?

TORONTO (Hollywood Reporter) - Canada’s most populous province is cracking down on scalpers, passing a new law that forbids Ticketmaster and other ticket vendors from selling and reselling seats to the same sporting and entertainment events in Ontario through related websites.

The Ticket Speculation Act aims to stop Ticketmaster from overcharging on event tickets purchased on resale sites.
