Here Is A Look At What There Is To Do In Amarillo This Weekend
We're about half-way through the summer, but that doesn't mean things are slowing down around town. There is always something to do in Yellow City. Here's a quick list of ways to keep you and the family occupied this weekend.
Free Community Workout
Tornado Alley Crossfit is going to be hosting a free community workout Saturday morning. You can get your day started with a workout before heading out for all of the festivals planned this weekend. The event is advertised for all workout levels, from absolute beginner to pro.
West Texas Burger Brawl
The first West Texas Burger Brawl is taking place this Saturday. It's at Sam Houston park, and is an all ages event. If you're looking to load up on food, this is a good way to do it. There will be tons of burgers, lots to drink, and there is even live music and vendors. Follow this link for ticket pricing and more info.
Barrio Bash 2019
This event on Saturday is being hosted by Amarillo Barrio Community Development and Power Church. It's a family friendly event with burgers, live music, bounce houses, and be sure to stick around for the Amarillo Barrio Historical Sites Hunt.
Amarillo Margarita Festival
Saturday evening, you can try margaritas from across the panhandle while taking in live music, a Lucha Libre wrestling tournament, and taco trucks at the Margarita Festival. I also like to call it the "DD For My Wife" festival. Click this link to get all of the details.
