Last week, we brought you a story about Kori Cooper and her resignation from Amarillo High as the head volleyball coach.

The abridged version of events is that Coach Cooper made lineup and playing time decisions, then a parent who's also a school board member told Cooper that her daughter should be playing.

Needless to say, the situation escalated and now is catching national attention.

It all came to a head last night at the Amarillo ISD board meeting, where it became official that Coach Cooper would not be returning.

To get a first hand account of the Board Meeting and some details from the entire story, listen to the Lance Lahnert interview from the Raiderland w/ Ryan Hyatt. These two spill the beans in a spirited discussion about the whole mess.

According to Lahnert, the parent apparently visited Cooper at her home to complain that her daughter wasn't getting enough playing time. You can hear the full discussion below.
