Man Arrested For Throwing McDonald’s French Fries At Step Daughter

A man from Massachusetts was arrested after throwing a container of McDonald french fries at his 11 year-old step daughter. James Hackett and family were headed home after grabbing some fast food when the incident occured.

James and his wife reportedly started arguing over money on the way home. During the argument the 11 year-old step daughter chimed in from the back seat in order to try to stop their arguing.

Hackett the threw a container of french fries at the girl for interrupting. The french fries reportedly hit the girl in the face. Police Officer Richard Cesarz noted that the fries were "hot and oily" and could have caused burns to her skin and eyes. She is reported as doing ok at this time.

He was charged with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and released on bail.
