As we made our way through September, questions began popping up about what our Halloween was going to look like in 2020. The bad news is that some events have already canceled. The good news? A lot of your favorite annual festivities are open.

Last weekend, Amarillo Scaregrounds had their sneak peek night, marking the beginning of their season. According to their website and social media, starting this weekend they will be open through the month of October.

Amarillo Scaregrounds is open Friday and Saturday nights from 7 PM until 11:30 PM, every weekend in October.

This year's attractions include Terror, Insanitarium, The Basement, BTrail, Xcape Room Village, and Axe Slinger Society. You can find out more by visiting their website by following this link.

Some changes this year due to Covid-19 include requirements for attendees to wear masks, and social distancing between groups will be enforced. You can see more at this link.

This is more great news as it looks like more events are being planned and more of the annual attractions are opening up.

Halloween looks like it's going to be an awfully busy day in town, with the renaissance faire that will be happening on 6th Street, which Top of Texas Pro Wrestling will be at. That all will be going on, along with Massacre on 6th Street celebrating the final night of their season.

Maxwell's Pumpkin Farm has opened up for visitors for the season as well.

Hopefully as we get into October, nothing changes and we can all enjoy the season.
