Musical Drama TEXAS Looking To Be Back This Summer

Can we just admit the constant cancelling of things we loved to do in 2020 was really pretty depressing. But that was so last year, correct? So in 2021 plans are being made. One of the plans is to have the Musical Drama Texas back and better than ever in Palo Duro Canyon.

If you have not been out to see the show I just don't know why. It is fabulous. Plus having Palo Duro Canyon as the backdrop what could be better? I have been several times and they always seem to make it better and better. Now last year the unthinkable happened. Of course with the pandemic things started to cancel. The Musical Drama Texas was one of them. Something I never witnessed and to be honest I hope to never again.

I saw the announcement on their Facebook page stating that they missed us. Well we missed you too.

They are looking for cast members and employees right now on their site too. Even though they do plan on a season it could look different. They issued this statement:

COVID – TEXAS is optimistic that conditions will improve with the rapid deployment of the various Coronavirus Vaccines across the country. But we are also cognizant of the fact that it is still too early to tell what that impact will look like and how that might affect attendance restrictions by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and the Governor’s Office later in May and June. As a result, it should be clear that we will not issue contracts until sometime after April 1st unless indicators become more clear before then. But we feel by then we should know more about what restrictions we will be required to work under. As we get more information, we will post updates on our website and social media platforms.

So here is to 2021 and a new season of TEXAS. We are looking forward to it.
