I don't know who thought this was a good idea. Someone needs to take a long look in the mirror, while shaving, and ask why they just decided to shame the demographic that uses their product.

The newest Gillette ad has garnered a lot of attention, much like Pepsi did when they insinuated that drinking their product would ease race relations.

In the age of the #MeToo movement, it has become incredibly in style to denigrate men based on nothing more than the fact that they were born male.

The video showcases a line of men standing at grills saying, "Boys will be boys." There is a stab at the now defunct "Girls Gone Wild," and a clip of Terry Crews saying men should hold each other accountable.

For what? Joe from GGW won't be seeing the light of day anytime soon. He has spent the majority of his time running from the law, being arrested, and dealing with bankruptcy. I think society has agreed, and has shown, that behavior is despicable and should be punished.

Terry Crews states that men should be held accountable, and he's right. We should be held accountable every time we do wrong.

What we don't need is this important social issue being used to hock razors. Maybe Gillette forgot, but it is men who primarily use their product. I, as a man, am tired of being preached at from every angle about how awful I am by virtue of birth.

Apparently I am not alone. The video already has around 38,000 dislikes at the time of this writing, compared to a paltry 4,000 likes.

The most offensive part of this video is the fact that not a single man is standing next to their grill holding a beer.
