On June 10 at 8 PM, several of Texas' greatest will be gathering for a live streaming musical benefit. The benefit is "A Night For Austin" and it's being led by legends and all-stars.

According to a post from the Luck Reunion Facebook page, Paul Simon, Willie and Annie Wilson, and Edie Brickell came together several weeks ago to plan a benefit for the city of Austin and those who are in need.

You can see the post below.

A Night For Austin is a 2 hour live streamed musical benefit, with 100% of the proceeds going to Austin Community Foundation and its beneficiaries.

The lineup is incredible. It includes Paul Simon, Willie Nelson, Gary Clark Jr., Bonnie Raitt, Britt Daniel of Spoon, James Taylor, and several more. Plus there are appearances to be made by Ethan Hawke, Woody Harrelson, Owen Wilson, and more.

I watched the live stream of "Luck Presents: Come And Toke It" on 4/20, and it was one of the best live streamed music events I've experienced. The live chat was fantastic, and cordial for the most part. The performances were also pretty good, considering that this was done with people all over the country.

The best part was the unexpected appearances. Jeff Bridges performed a song. Kevin Smith showed up to tell some funny stories. If this live stream is similar, you're going to get an incredibly uplifting and entertaining evening.

There are ways to donate as well. You can find them on the A Night For Austin website. There's also more information on the Luck Reunion Facebook page.
