Periphery Extend ‘Hail Stan’ Tour With U.S. Dates for Early 2020

Periphery have announced a fresh set of tour dates that will find the D.C. prog-metal outfit extending the North American tour behind their sixth studio album Periphery IV: Hail Stan into the new year.

The U.S.-based trek for early 2020 starts Jan. 30 in San Francisco and concludes Feb. 16 in New York City. It includes support from Australian guitarist Plini and California rockers Covet. Earlier this month, Periphery wrapped up a stateside tour supported by Chicago metalcore act Veil of Maya along with Covet. See Periphery's upcoming tour dates down toward the bottom of this post.

"Announcing the second leg of the HAIL STAN US Tour presented by @thenoise coming at the top of 2020!" the band revealed Tuesday (Oct. 15). "Hitting some cities we missed last time around and bringing @plinirh and @covettheband with us. Tickets go on sale Friday at 10am local time."

The Hail Stan album emerged in April. The release — via the band's own 3DOT Recordings label — was preceded by the singles "Garden in the Bones" and "Blood Eagle." While recording the album, Periphery worked with former member Adam "Nolly" Getgood as a co-producer and session player.
