Cotati Police Kick in Door And Shoot Parents With Taser Gun

So here's the question. If the cops come to your house, do you open the door or stand your ground? This guy was saying that the police had no right to come in his home and they felt different.

You can see the police kick the door in, then try to remove one of the children from the home. The father starts yelling "You're assaulting my child" and they then shoot the man (and what sounds like a woman) with a taser gun.

Should he have just opened the door, or are these police officers in the wrong?
