It's not surprising, really. We always have cold weather around Halloween. According to National Weather Service Amarillo, we could be seeing more winter precipitation heading into tomorrow.

According to NWS Amarillo, we might be getting a mix of snow, sleet, and freezing rain tonight going into tomorrow. They are saying that travel may be impacted.

Last Thursday, we got a blast of winter weather that led to traffic delays, cancellations, and several accidents on area roadways. At one point, roads had to be closed so crews could respond to wrecks in the whiteout conditions.

Tomorrow morning, drive safe on your morning commute to drop the kids off and on your way to work. Slow down, give yourself plenty of space, and give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to go.

Also remember tomorrow morning that leaving your vehicle unattended to warm up, is a pretty easy way to have your belongings or vehicle stolen. During last week's winter blast there were reports of thieves striking.
