Bob Seger has released a new single named 'Detroit Made,' taking another step closer to releasing his first album of all-new material since 2006's 'Face the Promise.'

And there's probably a lot of people listening to those songs right now, since the game earned over $800 million in sales on its Sept. 17 release day, the most successful first-day figure in history.

Seger and band pulled out hit after hit, with the usual suspects like 'Night Moves' and 'Turn The Page' as well as deeper catalog numbers like 'Beautiful Loser' and 'Ramblin' Gamblin' Man' gracing the two-hour show.

In a move that seemed somehow inevitable, rock legend Bob Seger and the irrepressible Kid Rock have announced that they are teaming up for a pair of shows in March. The rockers have been friends since 2000. The Gibson Les Paul that Bob Seger holds on the cover of his 1994 ‘Greatest Hits’ album was stolen from the rocker’s house in August, along with personal items like a Rolex and autographed Shaquille O’Neal sneakers. A family friend who had attended a party at the house has now been arrested.

Bob Seger has announced plans to release a new studio album, and to support that record with a tour. “I will write from January 1 through March 31. I will finish the next record and right now, yes, I will tour with the next record,” Seger tells Ultimate Classic Rock.
