Texas Parks stocks Lake Meredith with over 250,000 Bass for Fishing Season

For most people in the Texas Panhandle, warmer weather means fishing time at Lake Meredith!

This fishing season is shaping up to be the best one in years. With all the recent rain Lake Meredith has risen above 75 feet depth. That is the highest it has been in over 2 years.

More water means more fish! The Texas Parks and Wildlife Inland Fisheries Panhandle District has been busy these past two weeks. They have been stocking the lake with an estimated 278,521 Largemouth Bass for you!
