If you haven't been to a socially distanced concert yet, and you're wondering just what that's going to look like, you've got the chance to see for yourself next month when the Beatles Vs Stones - A Musical Showdown comes back to town.

Today press releases were sent out saying that the show would be coming back to the Amarillo Civic Center Auditorium November 17, 2020. The show will kick off at 7:30 PM. Tickets are on sale now.

In case you missed out when the show came through Amarillo last time, it's a two hour concert featuring Abbey Road, one of the nation's top Beatles tribute bands, and Satisfaction - The International Rolling Stones Show.

One way to describe it would be a battle of the bands. The two acts perform three sets each, alternating back and forth for the two hours. The night ends in an encore featuring both bands.

The release does state that the Amarillo Civic Center Auditorium will be following full Covid-19 protocol, including socially distanced seating. Also, if you go, you will be required to wear a mask or face covering.

Tickets are available at panhandletickets.com, at the box office, and United Supermarkets.

This year was supposed to be a big one for concerts. There was a time where it seemed like every other week we were announcing a new concert. There was ZZ Top, Bob Dylan, and Styx, among others. Unfortunately, they've all been postponed or canceled.

If you're bummed about missing those concerts, and want to go enjoy a live event, this sounds like it would be worth checking out. Plus, I hear that the bands do a great job of living up to the legacy of both the Beatles and the Stones.
