The ZZ Top Concert In Amarillo On June 10 Has Been Canceled

It's unfortunate, but you almost had to expect it. The concert with ZZ Top has been canceled.

I've been doing almost daily updates on what concerts are still happening in Amarillo, and which ones are either postponed or canceled.I checked today and saw that ZZ Top is officially not coming to Amarillo June 10.

The concert with Bob Dylan & His Band and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats has been canceled. Follow this link for info on how to get your refund if you haven't yet.

There is a little bit of good news, and something to hope for in all of this. Styx is still scheduled to take the stage on September 13. Follow this link for more info on the Styx concert.

I wish I could say I was surprised, or that I'm upset. I don't feel like I can be when the writing has been on the wall for a while now.

I had a conversation about concerts last night with a family member who has tickets to The Stadium Tour with Joan Jett, Poison, Def Leppard, and Motley Crue. Let's just say they aren't hopeful that they'll get to go.

Even if they did get to go, they feel like it probably wouldn't be much fun. With all of the guidelines and restrictions that would be put in place to keep everyone safe, it wouldn't feel like much of a concert.

Many are hopeful that we will get to see tours happening again in 2021. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
