If you're a fan of playing cornhole, and you enjoying helping out the community, you may be interested in the cornhole tournament coming up this weekend.

On December 5, Hole-a-Palooza kicks off in Amarillo. There's a lot planned for the day, making this a much bigger event than just a few people standing around tossing bean bags.

There's going to be food trucks and live music. There will also be several cornhole tournaments, because one is simply not enough.

Cash and prizes are what you will be competing for.

The event will be raising money for Snack Pack 4 Kids. Snack Pack 4 Kids provides food for around 10,000 kids per week. The food is to help keep those kids fed over the weekend. For a lot of kids, the most nutritious meal they get is when they are at school. Snack Pack 4 Kids helps fill the gaps.

A portion of entry fees for the tournament will go to Snack Pack 4 Kids, helping feed local kids.

Hole-a-Palooza will be held at The Derrick on Taylor Street. It kicks off at 1 PM on Saturday.

Even with everything going on in Amarillo right now, it is nice to see people still trying to put events together. It's encouraging to see people continuing to try and live life in our new normal. Plus, it's all for a really good cause.
