Amarillo Man Dies After Being Electrocuted While Trimming Trees

A sad story in Amarillo today. Emiliano Garcia, age 46, was working in a backyard in the 2000 block of S. Milam and was electrocuted.

He was part of a group trimming trees and was roped to a tree. While using a pole saw to cut limbs, the saw touched the power line running into the residence and he was electrocuted. He was pronounced dead at the seen.

Justice of the peace Debbie Horn has ordered an autopsy. Prayers go out to his family and friends.
